Hello,
I am trying to make an alpha for a window. The window is retangular with a half circle at the top. The lines in the top part of the window where is arc'd come out very jagged and look horrible when used in world. I have tried primming these, then taking a pic at high res, I have tried creating in photoshop, and even making a vector of the window framing in inkscape though when imported I have same issue.
It seems to me that working within the 256 by 512 height that I am using these curves just jag something horrible. I can make the image larger though when it reduces to the default 256 by 256 when imported in world it has this issue still.
Is there a way to fix this problem in photoshop? I am currently using CS4. I am used to ps7 and for what CS4 cost me i would hope this can be fixed : )
Thank you for your help and suggestions!

Wow, there's something rather incredible about watching such a skinny guy with that voice type. Great low baritone. My vocal teacher is a bass, and his Grinch is fantastic, but he's a bit bigger than Tay, so it comes as less of a shock when he opens it up. Anyway, thanks for the link. That was a treat.

Learn to use the path tool well. It's probably the single most powerful tool in Photoshop.
Beyond that .... in general, when you have the option, be sure to use anti-aliasing and to check that feathering is set to zero. Finally, always do your design work at a fairly high resolution -- like 1024 x 1024 px, for example -- and then save the PSD file and reduce it to a 512 x 512 or smaller before saving as TGA or PNG and uploading it to SL.

From: Rolig Loon It's probably the single most powerful tool in Photoshop. That's a bold statement. Can't say I agree, not that it really matters. The path tools do their job really well, but "most powerful in Photoshop" is awfully flattering.

Well, OK.... Maybe "one of the most powerful tools?" Anyway, it's cool.
