I'm just starting to get the hang of clothes making in SL but I was wondering if anyone knows any great sites to download clothes fabrics from... Any help appreciated  |

Although there are lots, with various regulations about using them I must admit my first point of call is nearly always google images. Part of the reason there are lots is that they have some overlap and some differences, so the site for a great maroon velvet (say), free to use as you will, might not have a canary yellow silk....
Sorry to not answer your question directly, I'm at the wrong computer, but even when I am at my main SL computer I still reach for google images first.

Honestly I hadn't really thought about making my own, but now you mention it it interests me to do that. A lot of the clothes I will be making will be animal print and silks, any help on making my own would be great
