hey can anyone send me or tell me where to get some good textures? right now im in need of a good water texture or a metal texture (like for a sword or something) any other textures would be aprecitated though. if anything just drop them from my profile in sl. thnx.

Have you tried going to the Junkyard? there are loads of free textures there.

Latonia is right. Lot's of good stuff at YadNi's junkyard. Also Textures Unlimited in Clover, Drift Monde is fabulous. The GNU architects' noobie store can't remember where, and the Free Bazaar can't remember where either.

Search the 'net for game file textures (e.g. Quake). There's lots of good stuff out there, and much of it is free.

The GNU store at Davenport 77,77 has a set of texture packs, and one of them is nothing but water textures. All the packs are just a single linden to buy.
