hi . i was gonna buy avpainter and it is saying make sure u have the right graphics card before u purchase it.. so i was wondering if any one might know if this will work.. i have a

nvidia 8800 gts
640mb
dx10 ready
pci express


will this work? :) thank you very much

I don't have that video card so I can't make a report from direct experience, but I strongly suspect that AvPainter would work fine with an 8800.

There is a demo version of AvPainter. If I owned an 8800 I'd try the demo without any concern.

As she said, the best way to check this is to download the demo. If it runs, then you know the purchased version will run too.

As I recall, the only difference between the demo and full version of AVpainter is that you can't save your work/files on the demo version. If the demo works, you should be fine.

can you run SL on that card??

if SL works well on that card then avpainter should also work (hint i have a Nvidia 7100 series card and i have avpainter)

AvPainter works quite well with an 8800 GTS, you shouldn't have any problems with it at all.
