Where is the line between PG & Mature?

Was out shopping and saw some very vulgar animation packs for sale in a PG sim. I won't name names, or even name the sim. The text floating above the packs was even more offensive to me, than most of the pics portraying the animations. I'm not talking "Sexy Poses" here, I'm talking bondage, torture, rape, etc.

Tempting as it may be to take advantage of the sales in some of the most popular PG shopping spots, I personally ask you to consider what's appropriate for the sim it might be in. Just because the line is somewhat invisible, doesn't mean we can't intelligently define it for ourselves.

There are SL residents who avoid mature content, by shopping in PG sims only. Plenty of both types of sims available.

Technically, you'd need to tone them down for a PG sim. I've not seen these packs but that language would certainly not be allowed in PG.

If they're in a mall, you should first approach the mall owner, and if that gets no response, a Linden. You also have the neg-rate option for displaying offensive material, on the maker, and on the mall owner(s) too if they don't at least look into it.

Lastly, you can file an abuse report. But bear in mind that it's possible that the seller put them there unchanged from a previous (M) location and either didn't think to change them, or even lagged out and crashed.

Speak to the parties involved first. Certainly it's not allowed in a PG sim, but it could be a misunderstanding.

I believe I know what's being referred to here. Brianna, can you do a walk-through of the Galleria to check for animations that might be considered offensive for PG sims? I believe I noticed some at various other stores in PG sims, but as the Galleria has become the largest repository for animations it sticks out in my mind. *hugs to all*
