Alright Hi im new to this game and im making an armor set that i had used in an other game called "Runescape" and im trying to make a whip and a cape that has little cut outs, and i cant manage to figure out how to link objects togther and cut them , so if there is anyone who can lend some advice that'd be great thanks.

If I understand your question properly, you're asking about cutting and linking prims - the building forum is a better bet than this one for the latest information.
