Where can i download PSP 8.0?

someone in game had told me i could download it free, but i cant find where

There is no legal way to download the full version of PSP for free

If you are lucky, you can sometimes get a version of PSP on a magazine cover CD/DVD. There are at least three PC mags (PC Format, PC Plus, PC Answers) from the UK that have these every month. Any good magazine shop should have them for between $10 and $15 US. I got my PSP 5 this way. Poser 3 was also available at one time. Most of them give away between 500 and 1000 pounds worth of software a month.

The CD/DVD will announce the major free software, so if you don't see it on the front, it probably isn't there.

Also, if you are a student and can provide proof, you can get the latest PSP 9 (academic) for $43 at provantage.com.

And as always, avoid the temptation to download it from usenet. Many people will try to tell you that you should subscribe to a premium usenet provider like Easy News ( http://www.easynews.com ) and using a good newsreader like Forte' Agent ( http://www.forteinc.com/agent/index.php ), download all sorts of things at super fast speeds. While it is true you can find just about anything you want this way and the download speeds are indeed very fast, it is considered piracy and you should not do it. So whatever you do, DO NOT illegally download stuff from usenet.

Try eMule... if you're not in a hurry, and have unlimited bandwidth, you can find the most amazing things in there.
There's even some legal content on eMule! Amazing
Handy hint for first-time eMulers:
Download porn. Seriously. Even if you dont want it, everyone else does.
eMule works on a queue system where you have to wait in line for access to someone's files. Uploading a lot and running eMule for a long time let you skip ahead of everyone else in the queue.

lol i feel like a moron. im not familiar with any of these programs...seemed to have a hard time downloading gimp, usnet, and emule just wouldnt connect u guy all rock for ur helpfull suggestions, thanks! looks like im stuck using the free trail

Note that if you're willing ot pay, you can download the full version of PSP9 immediately after you buy it from http://www.jasc.com . I know many people are morally against buying expensive software, but I think this program is totally worth it.

It is odd, but I have found that programmers are the biggest pirates. I am shocked that LL allows the usenet related posts on their forums.

I was just trolling (as usual). Of course I am familiar with usenet
I used to be an avid usenetter, but then it got filled with spam and clueless idiots.

Amazon have some good deals on PSP8 full programme, now that PSP9 is out. Husband bought me Zero to Hero PSP8 for xmas, so I've stuck with that one having used the free download for the trial period and found it does all I need.

Ok, my tongue was slightly in cheek.

But, c'mon, you totally mapped out exactly how to get the software. Ok, you didn't mention which newsgroup to go to, but it was a pretty obvious endorsement of such activity even with the disclaimer.

But it is true that people who make their living selling their code tend to steal a lot more than everyone else does. I actually get grief at work (a software company) for buying my OS, office software and games. They think it is quaint!
