Okey, I may be blonde but, I am not stupid. So, what happened? The other night I was working on a new outfit in Photoshop CS2. I saved it in psd format and three different tga files, which I was using in SLCP to check things. After finishing for the evening, I saved it and exited Photoshop. Now, when I open the program and file, I can see the layers, paths and alpha but no image of the file. I tried opening several other files to see if it was just this one. None of them show an image, just the blank grey backdrop. Everything else seems to be working correctly with one exception. Whenever I change the screen view, to say full screen nothing happens. I can click on the little buttons on the bottom of the tool bar or use the drop down commands. Photoshop doesn’t change. It there something I can do? Or, do have to reinstall the program? Jen

Is it the same with other files? Or just with that one?

Hello! I have had the same problem, it occurs random it seems to me. Usually it is fixed by adding a layer, then they all appear. in History I click the options arrow and press new snapshot. that fixes it.
But i still freak out whenever it happens, thinkin all my work is gone! LOL
Hope this helps!
/Chance
EDIT: Hmm..it seems i was to fast to answer...You see the layers but not the file image..hmm. Do you have alot of other programs working at the same time? The computer can be slow somtimes...sorry.

I had something similar happen once. Like you, I had everything showing on the palettes as it should, but there was no image. Unlike you, I had not only no image, but no window for the image either. Except for the fact that the palettes were showing data, it was as if there was no file open at all. I figured it was a memory glitch. I closed PS and reopened it, and everything was fine.
If it's happening to you consistently, I don't know what to tell you besides reinstall the program.
