is there any way to make a long shirt without going into the jacket/pants range of the lower body?.. i want to make realistically sized shirts for men and women, but you can't do so unless it is a jacket (open front) or unless i go into the pants area, which means to wear the shirt, ,the person can't wear any pants! HELP hehe

Nope. You can make the pants to match the long shirt, of course, so the bottom of the shirt and the pants are drawn on the same template.

Hi Emma! You do have to use the Lower Body template, but you don't have to use the Pants. Just close the Jacket, using the sliders in Appearance, when you're in there making it. Put the Texture for the top of the shirt in the top Jacket portion, and the one for the bottom of the shirt in the Bottom, of course. It'll stick to the body, because it's just painted on, but it will all be one garment, and people will be able to wear both a shirt and pants.
