Basic building dilemma. When I make a sculpture of several linked prims, and want to include one rotating prim within this structure, how do I do this without the whole structure rotating. Any help here would be welcome, thanks!

I don't think it's possible to have one prim in a linked set rotate, I believe you have to leave the single prim you want to rotate unlinked. BUT, I'm not sure about this, so I suggest posting to the Architectural Forum, I'm sure someone there knows the answer for sure.

If the prim to be rotated is spherical or cylindrical, it's simpler just to rotate the texture than to rotate the actual prim. Otherwise, I believe it can be done, but I don't know how. As Princess said, the architectural forum is a good place to go for stuff like this. I would suggest also trying the scripting forum.
