I'd like to 'hide' the ocean/sea surrounding my SIM and after trying a few things am stumped.
Surrounding the edge of the land (SIM) with scenery textured prims looks okay when walking, but the minute you start flying the 'illusion' is shattered. Making the 'scenery' tall enough to work whilst flying makes the 'edge' sceenry look overdone/silly...
Lastly, I believe that the 'Linden water texture' can't be replaced with a 'land' texture so am asking here for any suggestions?
Thanks Leon

Some terrible suggestions for you.
1. Use the debug function to turn off the water rendering. This affects all oceans tho. 2. If you don't mind building your own floor. build high enough in the sky so that you don't see the ocean. Slightly above the clouds is nice. 3. Place a giant 'invisiprim' wall along the edges. It hides water. 4. Buy up 8 sims around your sim. 5. Become a gorean. Stop flying.

From: Cottonteil Muromachi Some terrible suggestions for you.
1. Use the debug function to turn off the water rendering. This affects all oceans tho. Don't think one is feasible )) From: Cottonteil Muromachi 2. If you don't mind building your own floor. build high enough in the sky so that you don't see the ocean. Slightly above the clouds is nice. Not quite right for the theme, but suppose it might actually work From: Cottonteil Muromachi 3. Place a giant 'invisiprim' wall along the edges. It hides water. Will definately try this out!? Wonder what it will show though ... From: Cottonteil Muromachi 4. Buy up 8 sims around your sim. Now, you are just being silly ... 8 empty SIM ... a bit pricey From: Cottonteil Muromachi 5. Become a gorean. Stop flying. I have actually considered this option. Might actually enrich the experience! Thanks Leon
