Is there a site out there for people to read that would like to make hair ?if anyone knows please let me know...

create a torus and look at the options on the right hand side like "cut" "hollow" "advanced cut" etc etc.

play.

love the torus.

worship the torus.

and then when you go "omg the torus beat the hell up is hair on so many levels" find a good hair texture. there's some grayscale ones in library but i think peeps who use the custom textures end up with a better product.

it's a hair tutorial for a 3-d program, but you can pretty much use the instructions in photoshop.
