Ok, so I got some templates..and I am trying to make a different tattoo for my left arm from the right arm....is this even possible? It wouldnt appear so from the templates I have. Any tips? Grazie in advance

Unfortunately it's not possible. Since there's only one arm on the template, both arms share the same UV space, just flipped on one arm. Same with the feet. The only workaround is to put stuff on a prim and attach it, which leaves a lot to be desired.

The only workaround is to put stuff on a prim and attach it, which leaves a lot to be desired. with sculpties its abit better ... if you expect everyone to have a state of the art machine to render specialized maps * avatars in a scene but hey at least you can mimic the basic structure better than a "general chunk" i guess the idea was to save transfer bandwidth way back in the day, which turned out to be a drop in the ocean really quick considering theres enough space in a texture to deal with left and right arms and empty or not your still loading up the data for that space we all know LL is far form perfect, practical or wise in alot of cases
