you just open that in photoshop and put whatever texture you want... but what about the chest template, all those lines that make the chest? what program do you use to model that out?
also is it posable make any type of chest, legs, arms, exc... to model out something like this?

Im not sure the robot effect will work with clothing. The template you found is for making shirts. To make a robot, you will need to use the build tools and create objects to attach to your body so that you appear to be a robot. The textures you use for the prims will go a long way as to how your finished suit will look, so your photoshop skills will indeed come in handy.

Here is a pic of one of my favorite robots. In the pic you can tell he has seperate pieces attached to various body parts, helmet for the head, a joint for the elbow, a forearm cover, chest plate, etc. It looks like his hands are nicely textured gloves. You can make a gundam type suit, you just need some practice with the building tools. Get in there and start playing with it. Best of luck.

Well, you might be able to make a convincing robot purely out of textures afterall. I had forgot, but there used to be a group called, Android. We all wore the same Avatar and it was a simple steel plate body tattoo. With some creative texturing and a good body shape, you might be able to pull off something convincing. Here is a pic of the old Android AV.
