Hi
I started making clothing, well ive made one top so far LOL, i started this 2 days ago, well really i finished it within a few hours, but i aint got a clue how to use blender or lightwave :( so i cant do the shading..Ive looked for tutorials the last few days but i dont no it just doesnt work, Ive got the newest lightwave and many tutorials Ive found are older ones which dont share the same options.
I dont even no how to load the second life mesh into blender!!

I dont no what i need, im pretty useless, i read somewere you have to hand draw the bumps (like shading around breasts) before trying to bake them.. can anyone give me a detailed walkthrough on what i need, how to load it.
I did practice around lightwave earlier, and got nowere. I put the second life mesh into lightwave, fiddled with the options, and loaded my top in most of the options lol, clicked render and it took litrually 1 second, so i dont think i got that right all, but i tried to save it as a targa and loaded it into photoshop but it isnt a map or anything its just the avatar, and all of it including head legs and everything.. Ill be very grateful if someone could give me a detailed tutorial as this is holding me back..
lightwave or blender .. i have both, so if you no any.. thanks xxx

http://dominodesigns.info has a download at the right of an avatar.blend file

There aren't any detailed tutorials specific to SL as far as I know, and the avatar is very complex to work with, it's really not a beginners project. Learn about texture baking, uv mapping, materials, ambient occlusion and lighting before attempting it.
