A real problem with head textures, not an hallucination.

Why do all my skins have ugly lines on the back of the neck? It's quite perturbing, I can't find anything on the image that would be causing this... anyone else had this problem?

I've attached a screenshot of how it looks in the preview window. When uploaded, hair hides some of it, but there's still a lot visible.

I've been seeing that too. Especially when I use 'natural' skin tones. If I'm purple or another color I don't usually see it.

If you're using the mouth layer from the LL template it overlaps the neck and creates those black lines. Grab the wireframe templates from this thread and use it to check your head textures. Make sure the mouth layer doesn't overlap onto the neck polygons on either side :)
