I am trying to create photos in paint shop pro x by combining snapshots of avatars to a background layer. i know that i must create layers and combine them but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to combine them so that my avatar is in front of a background. if anybody knows how and can help explain this to me that would be great. i am new to psp so bare with me. lol. it's just those dang booklets dont explain well enough. lol

If it works like most programs you can probably just drag your layers in the layer dialog so that they're in the order you want then go to flatten image when you have them sorted.

thanks so much! that worked wonders  now my problem is my avatar is much larger than the background image. lol. i try resizing but the pixels get all messed up. I figure i just need to have larger images---just trial and error i suppose. thanks again for the response  )
