Does anyone have a template/texture for a basic white shirt with buttons, pockets and an open collar that I could use to develop uniform shirts for the PDSL, of which I am a member? I am seeking not an in-world texture (which are sadly not DOWNloadable but a tga or jpg file that I could work on in PaintShop Pro to develop my skills. I don't mind buying such a file if someone will sell me one! I have made tee-shirts successfully but all my efforts at an actual shirt have been disappointing because I have no model to emulate.

Thanks!

Hmm, you want a jpg to learn from? TGA is not perfect, too...you work with Paintshop so why you don't ask after a PSD or PSPimage file which would be much better to learn from.
Why? Because if you are lucky and someone has one, it could be that you can have it layered. And , don't be angry now, please: how you want to develope your skills with a ready template? If you would like to develope your skills try to get a photo of a shirt, that looks a little like you want to create and use this as template;). So I improved my skills, too:)
And another question: Since when you are using PSP? Have you visited some classes to learn it? Like any other graphic program you can't learn it by just playing around a little:(.
If you want I can help you a little...I'm an experienced user of PSP just send me a message here or IM in SL.

thanks for the reply - I have been using PSP for many years but only for a limited range of graphic purposes - I have never needed to use the Alpha Channel before I joined SL recently. I want an editable file because I have already tried to use photographs as a starting point and it never comes out right! I don't mind what format the file is in - psd is fine. Sadly a simple shirt is not one of the sample textures commonly available.

Hey Lem

Try: http://secondlife.com/community/textures.php - there are 2 shirts there: Hawaiian and Irish - they are targa files and I am unable to open such files where I am currently... I understand that you want basic positioning of collars and cuffs and such so these may help although neither has breast pockets or ties...

Thanks for the suggestion, Cat! I have checked these out and they are a partial solution, but as you say I want a white shirt with a collar (open, not with a tie), pockets and buttons. TGA, PSD or whatever will do as long as I can download them and edit them. It seems a fairly basic sort of file - there must be someone out there who could let me have one to play around with!

Have you tried the clothing tutorials? Namely the one on how to make a polo style shirt.
