Hi all!

I am horribly new and trying to figure things out. Can anyone tell me how to take a snapshot in world and change the format to texture (.tga)? Thanks.

Joy

Oh, nevermind! I didn't have to change it to a .tga file afterall. Now if I can only figure out how to delete my silly posts!

Sorry!

You have use the option to take the snapshot to your hard disk, not into the game. Then you use a program such as Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, or the Gimp (free) to change it to a .tga.

Thanks, Essence.

I did try that, although I couldn't find the snapshot on my computer. Can you tell me where they hide after you download them?

(so embarrassed)

whatever SLs default is. However each time you log in to SL... the first time you download a snapshot this way, it asks you where to put it. You should be able to determine the default directory from the window it pops up.
