Texture files-where do they go?

Forgive me for not looking deep into the forums, but I just downloaded the offical SL texture files, but I have no idea how to get them in my inventory on SL. I would hate to pay 10L per file if there is another way to get the textures up...Please let me know before I spend my little and hard earned money on this.

They're in your inventory already plus there are others you could get freebies from here and there that are pretty decent, just look around using the find function for places advertising free stuff. You can also save textures from in world to your computer, just view the texture then select file > save texture as... As for where the LL templates are open your inventory then go to Library > Textures > Avatar Body and Clothing Templates. Putting those on can help when making your own.

Well I have texture files in my SL folder, in a new folder....but I want to know if there is a way to put that folder on my inventory list....does that make more sence?

Anything that isn't in your inventory already you'll need to bring in either by getting it in world or by uploading it. If you're talking about the clothing textures you can get off of the SL site they're likely in some free bundles here and there, just couldn't tell you where to look in world for them exactly. There is a lot of freebies out there if you're willing to look so just pop open the find window and get looking.

The officail Linden textures are already in your inventory, in the "Library" folder. (At the top of the window, above the "My Inventory" folder that contains all of your own stuff.)

Just open it up, and look under Textures.

Thers's a lot of useful stuff in that Library. You might want to take a look, just to see.
