I am looking for a free, upper and lower body texture that shows off bodybuilder type, muscular definition. I want to make a modification of it by making it furry. I use photoshop and here is my technique for achiving it.

I cannot create my own from scratch because I do not posses the skills to draw it.

1.) Filter > Noise > Add Noise at 25%, with Uniform Distribution
2.) Filter > Blur > Motion Blur at 90 degrees angle, with 10 pixels distance
3.) Filter > Distort > Ripple (possibly omit if you want a smooth coat)
4.) Filter > Noise > Add Noise (About half the value from the first application)
5.) Filter > Blur > Motion Blur (About half the value from the first application)
6.) Filter > Distort > Ripple (Optional)
7.) Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen (Optional)
8.) Save in a TGA format at 24 bits

Can you guys help me please?

Theres some royalty free image sources in the net, maybe that´s some start, or you can buy skins from producers, try searching SL boutique or in the Find option ingame.

Now I imagine some Hairy Schwarzenegger kind of skin, looks scary

You can also look in your Character folder (I'm not sure where it is on a PC; on the Mac, you right click (Control click) on the Second Life icon in the Application folder, choose "Show Package Contents" from the menu, and then go to Contents/Resources/character.)

There are files in there called "bump_lowerbody_base.tga" and "bump_upperbody_base.tga." If you open them, they show where the muscles are on the body, according to the Lindens. There aren't any arm muscles, for some reason, but most of the torso and leg muscles are there. And you already have them. :D

Be sure to manipulate a copy, though; not the originals. And, of course, don't sell things based on those maps without getting permission from the Lindens.

I can't help you with the textures you're after, but I can tell you that you'll need to do this differently for to make the fur "flow" correctly; different parts of the UV map will need fur alligned in different directions, it cant all be up/down on teh template. Good luck!
