Okie I can make prims, i can build prim based items so i decided it was time to try my hand at clothes. Now i have basic knowledge of paintshop pro but I am stuck and have been looking at this for 4 hours now. I can get the top part of the jacket saved and uploaded great...the second part for the bottom of the jacket is another story. Can anyone help me figure out how to get this saved. Do i need to hide the top layers, do i need to move them to the top..both of which i have tried so any advice would be great at this point...Thanks in advance!!

If you drew the bottom part of the jacket using either the avatar Lower Body template or the Skirt template, it should upload just fine. When you apply your uploaded textures to a New Jacket using Appearance, there will be places to designate which textures to use for the upper and lower parts of the jacket. Your two uploaded textures should be applied at that stage. If that doesn't make sense to you, see if you can find a full perm freebie jacket that you can wear and study in Appearance and reverse engineer.

I haven't made clothing for years, but had vast experience at the time. The jacket layer lower part is painted on so I used it only for things like the lower part of a waistcoat. A normal jacket looks much better on a skirt layer or made from prims.
MUCH better.
