Thanks! I sell my stuff really cheap (much to my wifes chagrin lol) so it usually moves. I LOVE the feeling of sending one of my paintings/drawings out into the world. It's a lil sad..but still cool...

It is sad to sell art. I had a very brief stint where I sold some paintings. Im not much of an artist but I was pretty proud of the works I produced. On a whim, I decided to try to sell some at a garage sale and some of them actually sold. I wish I could see them again, lol.
It makes me wonder about art you see in coffee shops and bars. You see some okay to good quality stuff, seemingly way over priced. My guess is that the artist doesnt really want to sell them but will let them go at those prices.
Good luck Beau, you got some quality stuff.

Thanks..yeh I have this discussion with my art buddies ALOT, about pricing, when to sell, what to sell. I been selling 'em for quite a while and the way I've always done it..well let's just say that it still hurts to see em go but I'd rather someone else be gettin' some use out of em then me, I always store them all presciously in a huge file thingy and just keep em all nice and safe. And although I've sold quite a few for quite a bit more, I still keep everything pretty low. Pricing is such a wierd thing in art. One artist I know has the point of view that if it is NOT priced high, it won't be seen as valueable and thusly, not be taken seriously for purchase. I can see that point, and if you think about it, it's true. But my stuff isnt for rich hoity toity people. It's just kinda' always changing..sometimes silly sometimes a lil mroe serious. I was in a silly period with these, and I'm hopin' to get rid of the stragglers from the series hehe...thanks again guys for the comments!
