I've been having a problem the last several weeks where if I upload a texture, it will never come up for me no matter how long I'm online. I can put it on an object and leave it there, I can teleport all around and comeback and it still hasn't loaded. I have to relog for it to show. This is pretty annoying since there's usually a 5min wait time to login after logging out. Is anyone else having this problem or found a trick to get them to load after uploading?

That is not normal SL behavior. I suspect that there is something wrong on your end -- either a corrupted client program or an internet connection problem. Begin by checking your modem/router. Momentary hiccups in your connection are enough to cause a break in the connection to SL, even though you are able to perform other normal internet work such as browsing and sending e-mail. You should not have any delay in uploading textures, nor should you have to wait at all before relogging.

I had this problem for the first time yesterday, but it was always with textures I had not used for some time, frequently used or newly uploaded textures appeared as usual. Haven't looked at it today yet.

Nothing wrong with the connection; it happens on friends' computers as well when I upload textures for them. About 20% of the time the texture will come up after 15 seconds, but the majority of the time I have to relog or I will never see it load. The longest I waited was 6 hours without relogging and the texture would still refuse to even partially load. I relogged and tried again and it popped right up.
I've been doing a lot of building lately so this problem has really become a significant time consumer as I have to continually relog and wait 5 mins for the logout process to end so I can log back in. If the login servers are laggy, this issue probably accounts for a significant chunk of it.

I have the same problem, but it seems to only happen on snowglobe
reg newest client doesn't do it
