Does anybody know how you would make your avatar or your avatar's skin transparent? I want to create something that looks like a charcoal drawing so that the negative space is mostly see-through.

Thanks!!

The only way to make yourself transparent is to attach a big invisiprim to yourself -- kind of like draping a big Harry Potter invisibility cloak over your head. Unfortunately, though, I don't believe it will do what you want, since I doubt that you can apply the texture to your skin. Also, it won't make prim objects (hair, clothing, other attachments) disappear, and it won't do a thing to your floating name tag. Still, if you want to amaze your not-too-perceptive friends, stand in a big invisiprim and see how long it takes them to notice you.

There have been a few full-prim avatars made of invisiprims with partially-transparent prims wrapped around them. They can look quite impressive, like you're made of water or something.
