According to the design guides... no. In fact, you don't even have the chance of designing two different sleeves. You design one and it mirrors to the other arm.

Maybe there's a workaround... but I'm not a hack expert myself.

Anyone else??

The difference between me and you = 0/2

The difference between me and you = 0

I never thought we were so similar

Only think I can think of is to use two layers, shirt and jacket, to make the two halves different. Or course, then you lose a layer for other purposes...

But, that will only work if you want two DIFFERENT sleeves....It won't work to have one arm bare will it?

it won't work for either method. if you have a sleeve in your layer it applies to both sides no matter what. both your arms are going to be the same. i think Tiger's talking about a sleeveless jacket that you can switch out different sleeves with by wearing different shirts under it. you can't use that method to have two different sleeves, one on each arm. i got halfway into trying before i realized that. :D

and just to be clear, you can't have a sleeve on one arm and the other arm bare. think of a bare arm as a completely transparent sleeve.

HeatherDawn you might want to go to the Feature Suggestion forum with this. it sucks that in textures we have two legs but only one arm, one hand and one foot.

About the only way to accomplish this is to design the shirt with NO sleeves. Then add a prim-based sleeve to the side you wish.

It could work if its a sleeve on the upper arm only as the prim wont bend with your elbow. Still remember sitting with a prim skirt before we got teh skirt mesh

While your there - sugest a long jacket/robe and an underskirt too!! Oh ok I will go check if it has been done and if not do my own work ;)

Hey, you could use Tiger's trick to make a skin-colored sleeve. Thing is, it would have to be adjusted for each person's skin...

That won't give you one sleeve on one arm, and no sleeve on the other... no matter what you do on the clothing, it will always be the same on each arm. There is no tricky way around that.

You can still do it... it would just take more prims. Like... one attached to upper arm, one to lower arm.
