kk .... see the attached picture for details on what i'm asking.....
see the tabs that are at the top of the back? where are they coming from? I can fix them but I have no clue what part of the template they are from.
i've "fixed" them twice lol to no avail. thank in advance

Hi Zarah,
The "tabs" are where your shoulderblades are. It's not the design, it's how the fabric wraps around the body. You'll see them move and shift as your body moves.

Hosequeen's right, but you can minimize the effect. I'd highly recommend using Chip's hi-res templates. Upload your garment with the template UV grid showing so you can see exactly how it fits on the av. You'll be able to see which polygon faces are causing the problem, and you'll be able to compare their shape on the av with their shape on the template. Distort your texture in the exact opposite direction it distorts on the av, and you'll be able to reach a "happy medium" that shows little or no distortion when the av wears it.

Another thing to try is to just avoid the shoulder blades altogether. I hates 'em. Try making the back of your shirt lower.
