CS4 question?

Is it possible to grab the lights you used on your model, and roll them into the texture?

Basically I am sculpting everything in my house and I've planned out light sources. I simulate them in CS4 with pin lights and spot lights. It looks nice, but how do I take that and put it onto my model's texture?

Photoshop is not capable of baking lighting into textures at this time. For that, you need a full fledged 3D rendering program, not just a paint program.

What program are you making your sculpties in? If it's a full featured 3D platform like Maya, Max, or Blender, then everything you need is built right in. If it's just a modeling-only program like Wings or SculptyPaint, I'd suggest you move up to bigger and better things.

If you are using Sculptypaint, it has shadow baking built in. You could import that into photoshop and use one of the layer options like Hard Light to act as baked shadows.
