I'm trying to build a prosthetic leg for my avatar and I've run into a problem that I can't seem to solve: Hiding the avatar's right leg (the prosthetic one) without affecting the left leg.

If I skinny the legs down to build the prosthetic around them, I end up with a skinny right leg.

If I use prims with the 'invisible' texture on them it does effectively hide the right leg, but if you look at my avatar from the side, it also hides the left leg.

Any suggestions..? (Other than giving up, which I'm already considering.)

get an animation that jams your leg into your torso , attach at knee

and to make that animation, you can use a simple animation maker that a fellow SL resident made AVIMATOR.
