im creating a truck completly by hand with computer no normal pictures and im having alot of trouble geting ideas on how to go about doing it. the truck is mainly all faded layers it isnt a real complex design but the texture of the wheels are realy throwing me off, here is my truck so far as of about 20 minutes ago

anyone have any ideas to create a wheel that would go good with this truck?

Texturing tires is easy. First you need a tiling image of treads seen straight on; do a Google Image Search for "tread" to see what I'm talking about. Now get a picture of a tire seen from the side; GIS "tire". Paste both images into a single 128x256, apply that as the texture on a cylinder, and then adjust the repeats and placement for each surface in order to show the two images correctly.
