i suggest you to take a full length mirror and study how your own clothes react to the movement, the way they catch light and cast shadows
what you ask isn't much of a photoshop tutorial but more of art studying _____________________

I'm not all that good in photoshop so I can look how my shirts react to movement and how it catches the light all day but I don't know how to make that look as a fabric in photoshop.. /bump |

Dodge and burn. In fact, read the thread that's just been bumped from Robin about tips and tricks... she teaches how to dodge and burn non-destructively, which is a life saver!

Just wish someone would make a tutorial on how to make a fabric with wrinkles using the dodge and burn tools, with step by steps and pics just so people like me (photoshop noob) can get some kinda idea on how to do it then we can mess around with it... |

All you have to do is read through the sticky topics.
Go into the Great Clothing Links & More Open Robin's t-shirt tutorial In that thread, there's a link to her website with a LOT of tutorials. The one you want is Adding Patterns to Cloth. |

I found a better tutorial.
There is an on-line magazine called Second Style that has a lot of great tips and tricks to making clothing for SL. Here's the link. http://www.secondstyle.com/ In one of the issues, there is a great tutorial on how to add wrinkles to your clothing. I don't remember which issue, and I don't have time to go look for it. There's only 4 issues so it shouldn't take you that long to find it. |

Try playing arround with the dodge (lighter) and burn (darker) tool to make it cast shadows and more reality
