Grid Texture?

I need a good grid texture that I can apply to a prim, take screenshots to see where it applies, and then take that texture into photoshop and use it as a base for making my texture fit. I know such things exist as others have talked about them, but I am having trouble creating one myself. Is there somewhere I can get a full permission grid texture like this?

In your inventory, look for the Linden folder called Library. Inside, in the Textures folder, there's a texture called White Tile. Set the repeats greater than 1 and it will form a grid.

If you go to a store called Gnubie, they have a builder's texture there. It's free, but no transfer.

Also a great texture that's free in game is located at the texture tutorial, the location eludes me, but I'm sure you can find it with the find command.

http://www.foxbutt.com/grid.zip

Sorry about the zip file, there is a tga file in there called smalltexturegrid.tga. This is a 1024px X 1024px, 4x4 grid that is numbered and colored with smaller grid subdivisions every 16px, I've found this to be very good for fine detail.

Yep, Benten 18, 99. :D (Thanks, guys!)

For use outside of SL, you can download the texture here. Or, if you want to download all the extras that go with the Tutorials, for use in your graphics program, the page is here.

I find this grid easier to use, because with the unique colors and numbers every other square, you can find your place really easily. (You can also tell when the texture is flipped, in places like the inside of hollow prims.)

Hope this helps!
