hi new to the whole creating my own skins thing...but I'm trying to figure out how to do make up for my avatar. I have adobe photoshop cs4, do I need to design the make up through there and upload it to SL? I'm confused  |

makeup is part of a skin texture....you will notice that skin shops sell many makeup options for the same skin. It is done in your graphics program using layers so you can have say 10 different eyeshadow layers, 10 different lipstick layers etc...you just keep doing new makeups over the same skin. If you know how to make a good skin then makeup is just a part of the process. Search this forum for any guides on makeup or just start playing and learn by trial and error.  |

Well I kind of gave up on the skin, I just couldn't get the color right at all for whatever reason. Is there anyway for me to edit make up using a skin I bought?

Not unless the skin was sold with mod perms, which is VERY rarely done except for freebies.
