Hi All -

I am trying to build plants and trees by using sculpted prims I purchased to be used for plants and trees. I am using various sculpted prims from different creators, 64 faces, 16 faces, 128 faces, etc. No matter which creator's sculpty I use I have the same issue.

The issue is: when I apply a tree or plant texture to the sculpted prim, I get a little pucker at the top. It looks like the bottom of an orange. Its a criss cross pucker and its at the tops of almost any texture I use. It hangs above the top of my tree.

I checked my alpha channels and my textures have them. I used textured that I put thru the Flaming Pear filter to get rid of halos. I have combed these forums and google and slwiki to no avail.

I went to other sculpty tree stores from creators I bought mine from and I do not see the pucker there. I also asked one creator if she could help me and she gave me n "undeformed" sculpty prim and I still see the pucker with certain textures.

Can anyone help me get rid of these puckers? Could it be I only see it because of my video card?

I could see if it was 1 of 10 textures that looked puckered at the top but its more like 1 out 10 textures that look decent. I try my textures, gnu textures, textures from all different sources and 99% have the pucker.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try a vertical offset of .495...play with the 5 a little and you might get it to disappear...ussually does on mine...
