From: Mikayla Ares I have bought a flexi sl guide book and when I make the panels to attach to the skirt they change in length.... How do i get them aligned properly on skirt and not to change their lengths??? Hello Mikayla, Do you mean when you link the panels together their length is changing? Things have been buggy for a bit as in prims shift back after you stretch them, or dance about when you move them. Could this be what you're experiencing? I've never experienced any of my panels lengthening when attempting to link. ~Ari

sounds like sl buggs

normally things dont change lenghts on there own, however after the lastest few updates i have been having trouble with things resetting to previous settings. such as if you had something at .100 and you changed it to point .200 suddenly it reverts back to .100 when you go to the next prim.
i notice this happens more when you change prims without exiting the edit box, and going to edit the next one or say you have one highlighted and instead of letting go of that one you pick up a new one. it shouldnt change back but due to some recent buggs they have been doing that,
the one thing that seems to help me when im working and i start having that problem is to make my size adjustment then hit the x and close the edit box before making a copy, or picking up anouther prim, its a pain and its slow going and a pain but when it starts doing that to me that seems to be the only thing that seems to keep it from happening when it starts bugging out on me.
if your main problem is prim skirts and lining them up, there is also a item called a dress maker, by jerry martin, i believe there is a link to his store in his pics. he sells a machine that you make prim the size you want it, the style you want it, then put it in the contents of the machine. thro a menu you tell it how meny prims you want in the skirt, hip size, and and a few things, and it lines up all the prims nice neet and even for you, it takes a little practice but for someone that is planning to make a lot of dresses its a nice little time saver and a good investment in the long run.
good luck with your skirts hope this helps get you thro those bugs tell they get them fixed, sugar
