I really would like to make some skins, can't find anything I like out there. I can't find any tutorials or such... Does anyone teach this stuff? Or can recommend a web page etc? Thanks. I have Photoshop and am reasonably good at using it.

Search this forum on the keyword "skin". There are a few helpful threads and a good video tutorial. Like you, I wish there were more tutorials.

The important thing to know about making skins is that it's the same as making clothing. Learn to use the templates. Learn to deal with seam matching. Experiment to learn where details should be placed on the templates to end up in the correct place on the avatar. Beyond that it's just a matter of learning to paint good skin textures and any tutorial about painting skin (of which there are a plethora on the web) is applicable.
