Hehe probably a dumb question but its driving me nuts. How does everyone get such good lighting in their pic's? Mine seem to be hit or miss..sometimes great light..sometimes just terrible..and sometimes i'll stand around for an hour hoping the lights will come on Dont suppose there are working lamps in the game?

If you have local lighting on you can make items that generate light. Otherwise you can walk into any decently modern motif'ed area and you should get plenty of lighting for a picture. The problem is local lighting seems to really mess with your frame rate.
I also remember seeing something about your mouse being able to control the sun (locally of course) so you could probably drag it across the sky to a point where you feel it's useful.

If you have the debug menu on (I don't remember the key shortcut for that one, but hopefully someone else does), select World -> Force Sunset which will, contrary to its name, force the sun to rise I always do this before taking pictures of items for sale. Another nice trick is to take the snapshots in front of a background with blank texture and fullbright on. That will give you a background of uniform color, which is very useful if you are going to postprocess the snapshots in gimp or photoshop - you can then select the background by color (choose a color that's not present in your photo subject) and remove it without having to select the subject by outline.

ctrl + alt + m Mouselook moves sun. Enter mouselook, look straight up... high noon, bright as it gets, brighter than "force sunset". Also, as Jackl points out, Build a box/studio. Make the texture blank, turn on "full bright". Take your snapshots inside that box. Perfect every time =)
