Eloh's Template.....White Eyelashes

I have been playing with Eloh's skin templates.....mostly just the makeups, but anyhow...when I upload them into SL the eyelashes on them are white....

I don't know how to fix this....help?

the upper right hand corner of the template outside of the facial area needs a block of the eyelash colour you want, otherwise it will just pick up the white that's on your texture.

That upper right corner should remain transparent to let the default eyelash color bleed through. If the final skin is both opaque and modifiable then the eyelash color can be changed by altering the color on the pigmentation appearance slider without affecting the rest of the skin color. Unless one is looking for polychromatic eyelashes, transparency is more versatile than painting color in that area. Also, you will need some transparency anyways to avoid having an overly thick uni-lash. The file head_alpha.tga in the client character folder can be used as a guide for that upper right area.

crap, that's what I did wrong.. when I flattened the image and saved as a PNG, I forgot to trash that white space.. derrrr.... 5 cents down the bucket

another question, I made a b/w skin, but I still get yellow highlights.. is this just the local lighting and i have on way around it?

Maybe. Windlight could also be the culprit.

I don't have windlight on my machine.. someone just gave me a facelight to see if that will help the problem, lets see.
