Do you know how to create alpha channels (the transparent areas)? If not, I can point you to a tutorial that'll teach you how to do that in PSP 7.

After you've mastered alpha channels, then you'll be ready for one of the designers to help you with actual clothing textures. Chip Midnight has some templates available for download that I've heard terrific things about. Maybe he'll chime in here and let us know if they're "rated newbie" or what... =)

PSP alpha tutorial

I can't believe it's still there! It's for PSP 7 -- if you're using a newer version, you might have to hunt a bit to find the same menus/commands -- I had started a version for PSP 8 a couple of years ago, but then got sidetracked [by not having a computer... LOL]

Thank you, Shebang and Kanker. I use PSP 8 but its been a long while since i did anything on it and this all will help. Thxxx and a Hug goes out to u 2 :) i really appreciate ur help!

The SLUniverse one is made for PSP 8 and 9.. the only difference between using 7 and 8 si that instead of the menu being 'Layers' it is called 'Masks'.. or something basic like that. hehehe.. an interesting point is that I have PSP 9 but rarely use it because of the massive amount of system resources it consumes while it is running, usually I have trouble playing the game and running PSP 9 at the same time.. so I just use my 1990's version of PSP.. PSP version 4.0 :P haha

No.. it doesn't have layers.. and it doesn't have all the wonderful tools that PSP 9 has.. but it does do masking/alpha channels, it is a 750Kb executable file, loads in a matter of seconds, and doesn't take up hardly any system resources while it is being used. hehe.. imagine that :P lol.. Since I realised it also allows for greyscale alpha channels.. I haven't used PSP 9 since :) haha
