Hi y'all!
Can anyone, or everyone, point me in the right direction to find out all I need to know about starting to design my own clothes? Anyone got any tips for a newbie? I seem to have gone round and round and now nothing seems to be making any sence to me anymore, lol.
I would be very grateful for any advice you can all give me at all: the best downloads, templates, web pages to look at, etc etc etc.....???
HUGE thanks
Arorah

Well first things first, you want to have a program that is capable of doing all the things you need to do to make clothing in SL. The only ones I know for sure do work are Photoshop, Paintshop and GIMP. Latest version you can get your hands on is preferable.
After that you need a template, the one provided by linden is good enough for regular old tshirts and pants and things, but if you want to go a teensy more indepth there are better templates. I use CMFF templates, I don't know where to get them though a search on google for CMFF should give you a link to download the templates. Robin Sojourner i beleive has templates, though at the very least she has done a website pack full of how to do this stuff, as for a link I am sure someone will come along and provide it or just look through some of the other threads, she posts often.
After that, really the only thing you can do is keep making clothes your earliest work may not be the most wonderful, but don't worry you will get better.
