Until about three days ago, when I adjusted a textured prim's size, I was then able to reset the texture's horizontal and/or vertical repeats to 1.000, at which point the texture would realign to the prim accordingly. But now, those values don't change when I adjust the size of the prim! And so the texture doesn't re-align!

Perhaps I did something to my SL client without knowing it. It wouldn't be the first time! But it's driving me nuts and has stopped a few projects dead in their tracks. Any ideas out there? Has anyone else experienced this?

In the editor window, you must have unchecked 'stretch textures', rechecking it should fix your problem.

The "stretch textures" box only adjusts those numbers for you if left unchecked. Manually putting in the numbers, as Oberon describes, should do what he expects them to.

Oberon, I occasionally am working on a prim that just goes haywire, and the repeat-number boxes don't work anymore. I usually give up and just recreate it from scratch. I also had my hotel doors suddenly decide that the horizontal face included the other side (so to get "1" I had to put in the number "2.";) But I've never had it happen universally, to everything I create. Does this still happen if you start again with a blank cube?

Nice. That explains a problem I was having last week. =)
