Locking furniture prims together

Hi :)

If there's a tutorial on this, I'm very happy to go read, but at the moment I just have a few very basic questions from my couple of hours in the sandbox!

I've made a very basic couch out of very basic prim shapes. I can ctrl+click on it, and it says "five objects, five prims". What I need to know how to do is lock all the prims together, so it becomes "1 object, 5 prims" and I can give it to someone as a couch, not as five different objects!

Thanks so much for any help,
Sabrina

Select all the prims by shift-clicking them. Press ctrl-L to link them together. Press ctrl-shift-L if you want to unlink them. When you link, whichever prim you selected last will be the parent, and all the others will be its children.
