Hey there- I am sure this is simple and I could Google an answer but there may be others with a "burning" need to know-
So Gimp users- the Burn/Dodge tool- found it, but how do I make it work? I thought I was fine in just hold mouse and stroke the area but nothing happened...
TIA

Thank you Olila- off to look- I meant to tell you earlier in another thread- those skins are just amazingly beautiful! Do you do fantasy colors too? The grey tone is lovely though I have a few greys to chose from- I have been looking for a good red the one I have is much too dark and possibly a new blue- (Hey I can hijack my own thread, can't I? )

From: Amaranthim Talon (Hey I can hijack my own thread, can't I? ) Thanks! Glad you like them! I'm working on 'natural' colours now... With 20 makeups each... And I want to do at least 6 tones because the right skintone is really important for most... Im working on the third one now... But its really easy to do 'fantasy' - once you have done the other ones. So that's coming... But I have soo much to do in RL now so its coming along very SLOW. Time! Time! But I have done some fantasy colour-tests with wild-animalprints and without. And they look really nice... As soon as I'm starting to try them out for real - you can be my redcolour tester...

TIA I had a little play with it after reading your post, just tried it on quickly painted blothes of various colours. Just stroking with the mouse worked on a green background, darkening/lightening just as you'd expect, but the effect was barely discernible on a red background and not at all on other colours.
