Any word on having higher resolution sculptys?

Does anyone know if LL plans on increasing the resolution of the sculpts? We could do so much more if the resolution was there. And yes I realize that the very reality of us having sculpts is a treat - but I want more (32x32 is rather limiting).

I also am fascinated by the advent of flexi-sculptys - although from what I saw the sculpts loose detail when turned into flexi (they look very choppy).

Just curious and wanting more is all. I can't help it. I can make some pretty awesome models in ZBrush, but bringing them in here is depressing because they loose so much of the detail. Yes - I bake the texture on and it helps, but nothing is better than true detail.

Another thing that would be cool is if we could load in bump-maps and specular maps separately on top of our texture maps. Anyone agree?

I know this is random, and some of it isn't about textures directly - but there isn't a sculpty thread or forum so I'm dumping my thoughts here. Maybe Abu, Chosen Few, Chip and Nam will figure a way to bring in a higher res sculpt.. IDK.. would be nice though...

Also - does anyone know of a way that once you tiny size your sculpts, that you maintain the detail? I've been successfull in making tiny sculpts by using the curves in Photoshop to pull the sculpt down to tiny proportions - but the end result is more chunky and less detailed. In the sculpt file that chip set up there is a box that you keep your sculpt within and I've tried shrinking it in 3DS max - but really the sculpt doesn't seem to shrink very much on the SL end when I do that. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I believe there is a JIRA assigned for higher resolution sculpts, but I can't find it at the moment. If I recall, Chosen, Abu, and others, all had input there, and it was rather awesomely commented. Maybe, though, I'm imagining it, because I really just can't find it.

As for the flexy sculpts, I believe that is purely in third party clients atm, and still in a sort of beta or even pre-beta phase even there. It can only get better from where it is, and there's a JIRA assigned already for it from LL.

If you shrink a sculpt within the bounding box, it will lose detail. However, if you increase the contrast of the sculpt map (I think. I haven't used this method myself, so I'm not 100% sure this is what you change), then you can shrink the sculpty without losing detail, or with minimal loss.
