Im literally going crazy i got the blender trial and followed this tutorial on baking textures: http://www.nafii.com/PixelDolls/?p=87 thing is i cant save the UV map. Any one care to explain how, ill be eternally grateful

You mean you downloaded the Lightwave trial, right?
![]() I can think of two things that might have gone wrong. 1) The tutorial told you to turn off the Surface Baker but never told you to turn it back on when you were ready to render. Also, make sure you've double-clicked the Surface Baker field in the Surface Editor dialog to open the Surface Baker properties dialog, and set the destination file type and base name. The tutorial uses JPG but you probably want TGA or PNG. The render is saved to that "image base name" file you specified. There's no separate step to save it. 2) It's possible the trial doesn't save renders. |

I'm also trying to get through the same tutorial, but I get stuck when it comes to rendering with the following error message: “Surface Baker does not work with multi-threaded rendering. Please set number of render threads to 1.” Would you have any idea of what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! |
