Hello, I have a big Problem I have recently purchased a Sim and have been doing a lot of building. But starting last week the view I'd get during texturing would change and I would get the following effect (See Pictures Below). I have deleted the cache and even reinstalled SL. I've made sure I had the correct settings check and still after about a minute or less of working with textures I get this effect. Can someone please help me it really makes texturing a pain. It's driving me nuts!!! lol Thank you inadvance for any help you can offer me.

This is a bug introduced in recent server-side releases, and builders everywhere have been complaining about it. There's at least one JIRA request to revert to the previous building overlay texture. This one makes it hell when you are trying to precisely align or tint textures.

According to this JIRA entry, this viewer 1.19 problem is fixed in the next Release Candidate viewer 1.20.

Unfortunately, 1.20 has other nasty bugs such as memory leaking, so I will put up with the horrid texture interface for now.

Nicholaz, please rescue us... pretty please... in your copious spare time... ?

Yes, I just chcked, and the current 1.20 RC client does not have this bug. So apparently it WAS a client-side issue, and not server side.

I just pray they add a skinning component to 1.20 before they release it, as the bright blue "Dazzle" color scheme is still awful.

Thank you for the information and help understanding what is happening and that my vision hasn't been damaged from working with little cubes all day building a town on my new island. lol

Where can I download the old version, didn't find it in the SL downloads. I need to be able to see full textures to get my shops built? Thx
