I was wondering if anyone could give me a template to make irises for my av, i keep seeing store displays selling them but i would like to create my own. help?

You'll also need to rotate the finished eye texture 90 degrees counter clockwise before you upload it to Second Life to have it show correctly in SL.

No idea why; but if you don't do that, your eye will be sideways in the socket. :D

OMG! Robin is right, forgot all about that. I'd love to know why that is. I remember importing my first "eye" which had a lense flare on it and I was like, "HUH?!" LOL! Now I'm trying to get the idea of smart objects down, inspired by Robin of course :)

My theory is that because spheres are by default, rotated 90 degrees, and since the eye is a sphere, AND since you can't rotate the texture (nor the eye itself) to correct because it's treated as a skin, you get a rotated eye. :)
