I just got a new account and I need some textures to get started.
I see in the Library folder there are a bunch of free textures, but I can't find an easy way to add them all to my textures folder so I can use them.
Thanks in advance.

This is an easy one, although it's a little annoying. All you need to do is copy and paste. Pick the texture you want from the library, right click on it, and select "copy". Now right click on your textures folder and select "paste". This will put the textures where you can access them with the picker. Unfortunately they will only stay there until you relog.
1.6 is right around the corner, and it will make this sort of thing much easier. It has a vastly improved texture management system in the picker.

From: Kyle Rambler Thank you. Another method is to create a new window. Then you can drag the textures from the library into inventory without having to do the up and down scrolling.

I only wanted a few from there, so I copied them to my texture folder, then just renamed them, then they stayed...
So as long as you don't want them all, pretty easy, if you want them all then it will take a while to rename them all..

So they reset if I don't change their name?

yes.. because that's why they set up the library of textures - less items in your own inventory to load.
