More of a program glitch than anything folks...
I'm more familiar with Photo so here goes... Layers paltette in PSP..the right hand side with the trans slider and the blend options is there..and the left hand side, with the raster/vector layer thing and the toggle visiblility is gone. Theres no slider bar in the center.
Tried a bunch of things to get it back..any one run into this before??
Peace and Brownies!
Jase

Your gonna be looking for a tiny pair of glasses.. are you sure its not there? I dont think there is an option to remove it, at least not in any of the versions Ive used. did you try running the psp disc, and doing a repair? or reinstalling? otherwise, Im stumped! sorry lol

jase oh so kindly posted this question for me the other night when i threw a tantrum. lol. i think the slider bar *is* the problem. even with my tiny glasses and my nose against the screen i can't manage to find it. if i stretch out the left side of the palette everything moves to the left -- still no slider bar. i've uninstalled and re-installed twice. no good. the palette layer still looks the same, which baffles me because the palette was fine until 2 days ago so why is it still borked after a re-install? is there a settings file somewhere that would not go away in the uninstall? this happened to me on my laptop, same installation CD, and i fixed it somehow, but i can't remember how. ok, i feel another tantrum coming on, help meeeeeee!

well, just in case anybody else ever has this problem, here's how i finally fixed it. turns out it wasn't *just* the slider bar since the buttons shown were from both panels of the layer palette. i had uninstalled from windows using add/remove programs which didn't delete the registration files, hence the continued problem with the palette. turns out, the installation cd is also an un-installation cd. lol. if you go to install there are also choices to repair or uninstall PSP. uninstalled from there, re-booted, re-installed and poof! problem solved.
