I don't personally agree it being ripoff.
If you have any textures that for one reason or another you've uploaded and have lost the original.. what are you to do about it?

Not rippoff

What I am trying to do is combine two textures. Not rippoff textures. For example, combine a door and a window, so that my door now has a window in it. Now, I could just recreate the whole thing, but I just thought there might be a way to download the two textures, combine them and upload it again.

If you have all rights to the texture, once it is open, look under the FILE menu option, save texture to disk will be available now...if you don't have the rights it will be greyed out.

Try this, it might work...Take a screenshot of your door and one of your window and save them to disk Once you have both in photoshop you might be able to work them together and convert them to a texture file then reupload. I really dont know how well this will work but it seems lik a logical way to solve your problem

What would be REALLY nice is a bulk downloader to be able to get all of your textures or snapshots to hard drive to sort and such... I have to wonder if clearing out my 800+ snapshots might help the asset server. hehehe

Ripoff? Pfft, not very helpful.
The file function works beautifully. THANK YOU.
I take a lot of photos, and since I run a website as well, I can now put the photos online or in my own hard drive.
Though, all textures save as square, so some need to be stretched back to screen propoortions in pshop. Only a minor problem.
Excellent
